I started Crowning Jewel Designs because I believe every business deserves a brand that actually represents them. No useless monthly fees. No back and forth trying to get one thing changed on the site. A real person who's really invested in your business.
Hey, I'm Lauren! I'm a Visual Brand Strategist, web designer, and photographer, and I'm genuinely obsessed with helping service-based business owners show up online like the absolute gems they are.
I founded Crowning Jewel Designs because I kept seeing the same thing over and over: brilliant businesses hiding behind generic logos, template websites, and stock photos that could belong to literally anyone. And I just couldn't let that keep happening.
Here's what I know to be true: design without strategy is just decoration. Photography without brand direction is just pretty pictures. And a website without intention is just an expensive business card nobody reads. So I do all three things (brand strategy, web design, and photography) not as separate services, but as one cohesive approach to building something that actually works.
Outside of client work, I run the Emerald Coast Business Collective, Crestview's favorite free monthly networking group, and I'm an active BNI member, because community is kind of my love language. You'll also find me organizing local events, baking things in my kitchen, and surviving on an arguably concerning amount of energy drinks.

I will always tell you the truth
If you come to me and what you actually need is more clarity on your offer before you invest in branding, I'll tell you that. If your budget isn't quite there yet for what you're envisioning, I'll tell you that too, and we'll figure out a path that makes sense.
I'm not interested in selling you something you don't need. I'm interested in building something that actually works for your business. That honesty is either going to feel really refreshing or it's going to feel uncomfortable and I've found it's a pretty reliable way to figure out if we're a good fit.
Some fun facts about me
I do family and wedding photography on the other side of my business, and I LOVE getting to do it! It's truly a passion of mine!
I'm heavily involved in my local church and my faith shapes who I am and everything I do. I'm a Christian and my values are built on biblical principles.
I got a good dose of the ADHD (like all good entrepreneurs) and I like to call it my superpower. Hyperfocus activate!
I like to call myself "semi-crunchy". Like I use glass containers and straws, plant medicinal plants in my garden, and make sourdough. But I also eat chicken nuggets sometimes lol.
